

The 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid is a new full-size crew-cab pickup that is available in only one trim level. The vehicle also features a 6.0-liter V8 engine that is able to generate about 332 hp and 367 pound-feet of torque. It also has two 60-kilowatt electric motors along with nickel-metal hydride battery pack that has been placed under the rear seat. The vehicle is available with 4-speed electrically variable transmission and it has an estimated fuel economy of 20 mpg in the city, 23 mpg in the highway and 21 combined. The safety features include antilock disc brakes, full-length side curtain airbags and stability control. The 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid is capable of reaching from 0-60 mph in about 9.2 seconds. The interior is available with black plastic trim and comfortable rear seats. It also features leather-wrapped steering wheel along with auxiliary audio controls, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, cruise control, full power accessories, satellite radio, Bluetooth along with 6-speaker CD/MP3 stereo. The exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels, heated exterior mirrors along with turn signals, a hard bed tonneau cover and rear parking sensors. The 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid also features an upgraded Bose audio system along with a USB port, auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, power front bucket seats, power-adjustable pedals and a floor-mounted center console.
