The Mahindra Rexton is a new SUV that was introduced at the Auto Expo in the year 2012 with a larger appearance. It is available with a 2.7 liter turbocharged diesel engine that is capable of producing about 163 bhp 4000 rpm and a torque of 340 NM at 1800 rpm along with a 5-speed manual transmission and automatic transmission. It is able to reach from 0-60 mph in about 11.6 seconds along with a top speed of around 181 Km/h. The safety features include anti-lock braking system, driver airbags, passenger airbags, traction control, parking sensors, EBD, tire pressure monitoring system, collision avoidance system and more. The Mahindra Rexton interior has been developed with new central panel with beautifully lit tachometer, information cluster with various warning lights and other information warnings. It also has a much comfortable headrests and armrests along with other storage compartments. The exterior has been developed with ultra- sensuous craftsmanship including sportiest roof rails and the rear also has a great style and boldness. Other accessories include audio system along with an Mp3/ CD changer with AUX, Bluetooth connectivity and USB. The audio system also features 6-speakers to offer a perfect music. The rear of the car is available with a multi-link connection system and the front is available with double wishbones. The Mahindra Rexton is expected to be one of the most dignified SUVs from the company along with its higher class performance in all the aspects.
