Acura Advanced Concept

At the first International Motor Show of 2007, Acura unveils a world sport concept, which seems to be separated from another dimension. The Advanced Sport car is looming its successor to the Acura NSX, or, for the Europeans, Honda NSX.The front shows a sporty and massive inspiration worthy of a super exotic sport car. This view is created by the hood of a size more than generous, but also by its profile. An unusual design feature is the lack of the usual grille, the air flow for the engine cooling is provided by two large side air intakes.

Narrow lights are used to remember of the first generation of the Acura NSX, by using the LED technology and the fog fog lamp to create a high impact visual effect.

The profile of the new Acura Sport Concept is dominated by the 19 inch wheels on the front aand 20 inch wheels on the back. It was used tinted windows including the roof of the car and the aerodynamic shape of the whole glass creates a sophisticated sporty look, in an exotic word. In order not to adversely affect the aerodynamic coefficient of the car, opening the door handles are concealed in its shape with discrete buttons at the top.

In terms of size, the body is very compact, providing the concept a sporty behavior, specifically to this type of cars. The car has a length of 4.5 meters, width of apoximative 2 meters, a height of 1.22 meters and wheelbase of 2.76 meters. The proportion of data of this size are almost ideal to obtain high dynamic performance and improved handling.
