After more than 80 years since the first model produced by Mercedes, called the Pullman, a new model is now refreshing the memories of those times.
It seems that history repeats itself for Mercedes, because here, more than 80 years after he produced the first armored Pullman limousine, this idea is in force in the shape of the S600 Pullman Guard. Thus representing the last incarnation of a long series of armored vehicles which are distinguished by luxury and tradition, the S600 Pullman Guard model brings pride to one of the oldest brands of car manufacturers and here we are talking about Mercedes-Benz. Therefore, the vehicle, which was marked as having a B6/B7 protection level, meaning that the car will stand still in front of the most powerful bullets and grenades, was adapted to the S600 molde platform and suffered serious changes to ensure that the performance of Mercedes style will remain intact, as the car did not suffer any additional changes. The changes that the car has suffered are serious, so that we are talking about modifications at the cars structure and suspension, where the vehicle ”host” a necessary step to maintain the quality and its standards. As the performance, this model is powered by a 12 cilinder turbo engine of 5.5 liter that produces 517 hp and a maximum torque of 830 Nm. Finally, it seems that besides the reinforced idea of safeness represented by Pullman, Mercedes has managed to cover everything in a rich layer in their own representative style, just to remember the customers that the car is still a Mercedes.
