Audi will present at the Los Angeles Auto Show a new concept called the Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro.
The two doors and four seats concept has a length of 4.62 meters and combines the genes of a convertible and an SUV, resulting a convertible SUV. Just like the off-road claimed cars, the concept has variable ride height and adjustable suspension via electric. Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro is equipped with the “Audi drive select” title borrowed from the Audi A4. ”Audi drive select” allows the choice of three modes for the engine and suspension, “dynamic”, “sport” and “efficiency”.
The propulsion is provided by the last record of common-rail diesel engines, a 3.0 liter V6 that develops 240 hp and a torque of 500 Nm. The engine is able to raise the speedometer needle from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.2 seconds and top speed is limited at 240 km / h. These values are achieved in terms of average consumption of 7.3 litres/100 km. One reason for the achievement consumption which is so low, is that the engine is mated to a eight speed automatic transmission. Moreover, this engine boasts and has lower levels of pollutants, because of the very high pressure in the injectors of about 2,000 bars.
The interior is furnished with white leather and ergonomics is at its own house, so that all seats are provided with lateral support. To protect passengers of turbulence when the car is convertible, the Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro is equipped with air vents for each seat. They are mounted in the headrest thereby these are creating a counter current.
