

The 2013 Porsche Boxster S is available with a new lightweight design and revamped chassis along with lighter and more fuel-efficient features. It has a 3.4-liter flat-six engine that is capable of producing about 315 hp at 6700 rpm and 266 lb-ft at 4500 rpm. The car as a 2-passenger, 2-door roadster also features a rear-wheel-drive along with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission including manual shifting mode. This new model is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 4.3 seconds along with a top speed of around 173 mph. The 2013 Porsche Boxster S has an estimated fuel economy of 19–20 mpg in the city and 27–30 mpg in the highway. The car has a wheelbase of 97.4 inch, length of 172.2 inch, width of 70.9 inch, height of 50.4 inch and it also weighs around 3150 lb. It also feature a completely redesigned interior with features including CDR audio system along with seven inch touchscreen display and 4.6 inch VGA multi-function display including map display for optional PCM with navigation module. The 2013 Porsche Boxster S has undergone few more changes such as new stiffer brake calipers on the front axle, brake disc cooling has been improved, it is an optimized brake pad control and larger brake surface. The exterior features include new Bi-Xenon headlights along with daytime driving and position lights in LED technology, redesigned twin-flow double tailpipe, optional 20-inch wheels and more.
