The Indian giant, Tata, promises great things with Jaguar and Land Rover but do not forget that it is needed a car just like those from India. Here is a concept that promises a bright future for the Indian crowds.
Given to the great expansion plans with the UK brands that the company has got, we think that this concept from Tata would have a chance to win a big number of fans from all major cities of the globe not only from the Indian crowds. Megapixel is the successor of Pixels, a similar concept introduced last year. We know that it sounds like Bollywood.
Megapixel is described as a global city car and a genuine four-seat hybrid. Well, it smels like the idea was thrown directly at the city’s electric cars like Renault and Smart concept but Tata has announced an autonomy range of 900 km with a full battery, that is exactly how all of these cars succeed this together. With a 13 kWh battery and a heat engine of 325 cc with a single cylinder, it sounds like a Megapixel revolution. The engine will only work to charge the batteries while driving and thus the CO2 emissions are very small even for a hybrid – 22 g / km. The autonomy in full power is 84 km but the most impressive thing is the fuel economy – Megapixel should travel 100 miles with just one liter of petrol consumed. The car was drawn at the design studios in India Tata and Megapixel is equipped with four electric motors located in each wheel of the car.
Hope this sales like the Scion. Best eco car today.
