

The 2013 Volkswagen Polo BlueGT is a new small hatchback model that was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. It also features a new 1.4-liter TFSI gasoline engine that is able to generate about 138 hp along with a 7-speed DSG transmission. The car is capable of reaching from 0-62 mph in about 7.9 seconds along with a top speed of around 130 mph and it has an average fuel consumption of just 4.7 lt/100 km. This model has new ACT active cylinder deactivation technology which helps to shutdown cylinders two and three during low and medium engine loads. This system can be activated by prssing the accelerator pedal by the driver depending on engine speed. The 2013 Volkswagen Polo BlueGT interior has been upgraded with extended functionality such as multifunction display, GTI instruments, black roofliner, black pillar trim in GTI style and cruise control system. It also features leather-trimmed sport steering wheel along with BlueGT emblem, various chrome surrounds, sport seats in front with a new trim and interior lighting to match all the features. The exterior features include new 17-inch alloy wheels along with spoke styling, new tailpipe trim, GT signatures at the front and rear, rear bumper with diffuser, rear spoiler, front bumper and fog lights with daytime running lights. The 2013 Volkswagen Polo BlueGT is available with black-painted grille as well as R-line ventilation screen up front. This model is expected to close the gap between Polo 1.2 TSI and Polo GTI.
