The Isuzu Zen is a unique concept vehicle that was introduced at the Tokyo Motor show in the year 2001. It also features a 3 liter, 4-cylinder engine along with a 4-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. The vehicle was a four-seater sports utility/panel model with transformer type interior that can be converted into a traditional Japanese tea room along with bamboo flooring as well as Tatami woven mats. This model was specially developed in the Midlands with a stylish stress-buster that is expected to reach the Tokyo high-flyers to change it into stationary office in case of traffic jams or parked nearby to their next appointment. The Isuzu Zen has a wheelbase of 3050 mm, length of 4480 mm, width of 1900 mm and a height of 1980 mm. It was available with double wishbone, torsion bar on the front suspension and parabolic tapered leaf springs on the rear suspension. The vehicle would easily fold away from all the possible distraction with its steering wheel which was able to arc into oblivion and then the gear lever was able to slide into a drawer. The Isuzu Zen also has traditional Royal Blue silk-covered seats that were able to fold into the fascia and floor which would provide large open space for contemplation. Even though the vehicle has some of the most unique features that are not available in any other models, it has not put into production by the company.
