After the first official photos of the new Peugeot 208, French show the first pictures of the car , as a movie presentation.
Considered one of the great absentees of the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, the new Peugeot 208 is officially unveiled by the French at the beginning of November, in two versions of body: 5 door hatchback and respectively a 3 door hatchback. The new Peugeot 208 comes with a very mature style and it is a pretty sharp break from the previous design of 207 and especially 206. The front makes the direct reference to the mid-range Peugeot 508, while the car combines its dynamic profile and elegance, which is sufficiently suggestive. The taillights are also custom, although the about the rear we can not say that it’s very expressive. The new Peugeot 208 brings a surprise to the gauge, because it is shorter by 7 cm and replaces the one from the previous model – so, 208 has a length of 3975 mm while in the case of 207, the length is 4045 mm. The new 208 is easier beside the 207 with an average of 110 kg.
The new Peugeot 208 offers a very interesting arrangement of the inside elements, so that, overall, the new Peugeot 208 expresses seriousness, which stands in the interior and where we gratulati with a modern ambience, but focused more onto the pragmatism and importantly, onto the quality. Again, a surprise is provided by positioning the instruments onto the board signs placed above the wheel. As engines, the new Peugeot 208 will be based on five diesel and two petrol engine, at least those are the pieces of information provided by the brand.
