

The Suzuki Cervo SS20 is the first model that was introduced by the company in this edition. It was produced from the year 1977 to 1982 as a 2+2 and two door coupe hatchback. The car also features a 539 cc T5A two-stroke I3 engine that produced about 21 kW of power at 5,000 rpm and 360 cc engine that was able to generate 27 kW of power at 6,000 rpm along with a standard 4-speed manual transmission. This model was capable of reaching a top speed 75 mph and it was able to sprint from 0–400 m in about 23 seconds. The Suzuki Cervo SS20 had a length of 1,395 mm, width of 1,395 mm, height of 1,210 and it had a weight of about 1,180 lb. The advertising of the car was mainly focused on attracting female demographic and it was no longer considered as a mini GT car. The CX-L was included with the name of the car in the middle of its production with a brighter trim and particularly to target the female customers. The Suzuki Cervo SS20 was also named as CX-G which included additional features such as front disc brakes along with drums all around, bigger bumpers and new rear glass hatch. The handling of that car was also improved more when compared to its previous models. The car also underwent a minor facelift in the year 1978 which included interior upgrades and rear-engine models were discontinued.
