The flagship of General Motors, which is preparing to officially debut at Los AngelesAuto Show, is promising to carry on the legacy of the imposing DTS. The tradition of the Cadillac limousines, with sharp lines and intimidating size, is carried on by the new XTS, the DTS’s successor, so now the former flagship of the Cadillac is used at a time even by the U.S. president, in a super-secure version. The exterior is marked by new design language ”Art and Science”, which takes Cadillac’s typical reasons, such as chrome grille and angular headlights, giving them a new stylistic approach. Basically, although everything is back to American limo sense of familiarity and to the lines that they always had. The interior promises to live up to the highest standards of comfort, just like the beloved Cadillac owners. The main actor is the center console, sliding a 12.3 inch LCD screen, which can be customized with interface preferences for the passengers. According to the Americans, the space offered for the passengers will be more than satisfying and the cargo area has a volume of 509 liters. The dynamics are favored by the new chassis, fitted with Hyper Strut pneumatic suspension for the both front and rear, so while cornering, the balance is moderate because of the Magnetic Ride Control system. The wheel drive system, optional, uses a Haldex limited-slip differential.
The power for this limo comes from a 3.6 liter V6 engine displacement, which provides an output power of 300 hp available at 6,800 rpm which is enough for the big Cadillac XTS.
