A gift to us was the celebration of the Chevrolet’s 100 years of existence, so as a surprise, it was launched the new Chevrolet Camaro like a movie star, with the muscle cars history and childhood memories. Ladies and gentlemen, let me present you the new Chevrolet Camaro!
You may not know, but Chevrolet Camaro muscle car is the only U.S. officially car imported to Europe. The car will be launched officially in November, but for now, we do not know the official prices. But you can already make your plans for Christmas, if a muscle car is the dream you have at any price to be satisfied. The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro was produced between 1966 and 1970 and is considered an affordable alternative to the already famous Chevrolet Corvette. The selling price was $ 2,466, an amount very attractive as they were offered both coupe and convertible body and a number of packages of individuality, among others with RS (Rally Sport) or SS (Super Sport). The engine range was very generous: from a basic 6 cylinder, 4.1 liter with 155 or 210 hp to a small-block of 5.4 liter V8 with 275 hp and even with a big-block 6.5 liters V8, with the two versions of power, 325 bhp and 375 bhp (the latter was even the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car). The gearboxes were available either manual, with three or four steps, or automatic. A second generation was produced between 1970 and 1981, which used the same basic structure as the first Camaro did. The 5.4 liter engine was replaced with a 5.7 liters one and 300 hp, but the racing version of the Camaro Z28 was now developing 360 hp, beside the 290 hp from the previous Z28.
