The Jaguar XKR Goodwood is a very special version of the coupe XK and it was developed to by a engineering team from Jaguar to explore some performance boundaries. It was available with a supercharged 5.0 Liter V8 engine that was capable of producing about 530 hp and 520 lbf-ft of torque along with a ZF 6HP28 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. The car is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 4.2 second along with a top speed of around 225.675mph. The sleek Jag featured a throatier exhaust along with free flowing pipes. The Jaguar XKR Goodwood hardtop was painted in a lime green and the front fascia was made of a new satin graphite grille. It also features headlamp surrounds and flat painted mirrors along forward opening hood. The car was also available with an upgraded rolling stock with a set of signature 21 inch rims. Both front and rear suspension had double wishbones along with coil springs, active dampers. The car was developed with an aluminum body over aluminum-alloy chassis. The Jaguar XKR Goodwood was introduced at the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed as a special version with updated features. This is considered to be one of the fastest Jaguar model ever built by the company during that period. The car was driven by Paul Gentilozzi, the Rocketsports Racing owner when it was introduced at the Goodwood’s First Glance category and it was also very well received.
