

The Jeep CJ-6 was a longer wheelbase model when compared to its previous version Jeep CJ-5 and it was produced as a limited model. It was introduced in the year 1955 as a 1956 model and it was available in places like Sweden and South America. The vehicle was introduced with different types of engine options along with a 3-speed or 4-speed manual transmission. This model was also introduced with a Trac-Lok limited-slip differential that replaced the Powr-Lok in the year 1971. There was many drive train that were included along with a front axle which was full-floating Dana 30. The Jeep CJ-6 also featured a tub and frame which was updated when compared to its previous models. It was available with a top soft top along with soft doors and a bikini top. The seat of the driver was designed to offer a comfortable drive and the high back front seats along with rear seat were added to make the vehicle more attractive than its early models. The Jeep CJ-6 was available with a wheelbase of 2,565, length of 3,510 mm, width of 1,740 mm, height of 1,720 mm and weight of about 2,665 lb. The vehicle also had 33 inch tires, odometer and a speedometer were available as the interior feature. It was introduced with a standard two-barrel carburetor and there were other new feature that was included later in the production to make it more attractive for the customers.
