

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is a racing car that is based on the Gallardo LP560-4. About 30 units have been produced by the company from 2008 to enter into the track which has been made available to individual enthusiasts and Lamborghini dealer teams. The car is available with a 5.2-liter V10 engine that is able to generate about 570 hp which is 18 hp more than the LP560-4. This is the only one-make series that is available with an all-wheel drive in the motorsport world and it is also the fastest single-brand series all over the world to be partly due to the technical superiority of an all-wheel drive principle. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo also features a 6-speed robotized gear box fixed to the all-wheel drive along with viscous traction. It also has featuring double wishbone suspension all round which has specially reworked for the racing purpose. The exterior features include tyres from Pirelli and specialist racing brake system which helps in brutal stopping power along with racing ABS. There are also large and adjustable rear wing that have been developed with carbon-fiber composite. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo cockpit is available with an ultra-light race seat, additional specialized racing instruments and a racing steering wheel. During the earlier period, the car made guest appearances at six race events such as Silverstone in UK, Adria Raceway in Italy, Norisring in Germany, Spa in Belgium, Barcelona in Spain and Paul Ricard racetrack in France.
