The 2011 Mazda RX-8 Spirit R is a final special edition car that is inspired by the manual version RX-8, Type RS and automatic Type E. The car will be available with a 1.3 liter rotary engine that is capable of producing about 232 hp at 8500 rpm along with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The transmission also features an electronic control which helps to control the system. This model will have a very distinct styling feature on both interior and exterior. The safety features include six SRS airbags and a Dynamic Stability Control. The 2011 Mazda RX-8 Spirit R interior will be designed with piano black color that also includes the center of the tunnel. Other interior features such as the suture line located over the steering wheel, seat and side door before the black, parking brake have been stylish designed with the red color. It also has a leather Recaro seats which is available in black and red color combination which creates a very casual atmosphere inside the car. The 2011 Mazda RX-8 Spirit R will be available in three different colors such as Aluminum Metallic, Crystal White Pearl Mica and Sparkling Black Mica. The exterior is very similar to the standard RX-8 model along with new color used on the rear combination lamps, frame of the headlamps and lights in the fog has been changed to black. This special edition will be limited to only 1,000 units by the company.
