

The 2008 Seat Altea Freetrack was first unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show and it is considered one among compact monospace cars with clear off-road styling. It is available with different engine options such as a 2.0 TFSI petrol engine that is able to generate 200 hp and another 2.0 TDI diesel engine that produces 170 hp. With the petrol engine, the vehicle is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds along with a top speed of 214 km/h and using a diesel engine, it can accelerate from 0-60 in 8.7 seconds along with a top speed of 204 km/h. The 2008 Seat Altea Freetrack standard safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure warning and EPS electro-mechanical steering. It also has new rear window shades that have been hidden inside the doors when they are not used. Other features include dual climate control, light sensor, cruise control, plus CD MP3 radio and steering wheel mounted controls, rain sensor wipers, parking sensors, trip computer and more. The 2008 Seat Altea Freetrack has been completely developed at the SEAT Technical Centre located in Martorell and more than 1,000 highly qualified staff was used to build this model. One of the most important features in this vehicle is its new multimedia system with a 7-inch TFT screen hinged on the ceiling. It also has an RCA connection that can be used to connect DVD player, MP3 players, laptops and video-games.
