Mazda is about to Introduce at the Leipzig Auto Show their new concept called Mazda MX-5 Yusho, a “hardcore” version of the most popular Japanese sport car.
Mazda MX-5 is one of the most famous and popular sport car in the world. The Japanese manufacturer has presented at the Leipzig Motor Show their new concept called Yusho, a model that comes with an extra 86 hp beside the series model. Mazda MX-5 Yusho has the same 2.0 liter engine as the model number, but aided by a supercharger. The total engine power now comes to the value of 244 hp. The Japanese have called for changes in the power unit to the British specialists from Cosworth. In addition to the mechanical compressor, the British installed pistons and injectors with a better flow capacity. Mazda MX-5 Yusho now reaches a top speed of 250 km / h, which is with 30 km / h more than the production model. For a superior handling, they had to install a lower suspension with Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs. In terms of changes applied to the design, Mazda MX-5 Yusho has a special color, slightly modified bumpers and exhaust that are placed in the middle adds for a much more sportiness driving. Yet, this is another Mazda introduced by the the MX-5 and is called the Senhu which was also unveiled at Leipzig and it is a model that will be produced only in 200 units specifically for the German market. Senhu MX-5 is equipped with 2.0 liter engine that produces 158 hp and 187 Nm and comes in red or black color.
