

The 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak is a a sporty compact pick-up vehicle that was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in the year 2011. It is available with different engine options such as a new 2.2 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of producing about 110 kW of power along with a torque of 375 Nm and a new 3.2 liter 5-cylinder diesel engine that is able to generate about 147 kW of power along with 470 Nm of torque. The vehicle also features a new fuel-efficient 6-speed transmission that increases more power and torque. The 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak safety technologies include Ford BeltMinder technology that alerts the front-seat occupants to wear their belts, three-point safety belts for all the seating positions along with pre-tensioners as well as load limiter for the front seats. There are also braking technologies which includes Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Anti-Lock Brake System and Emergency Brake Assist. The vehicle has all-new chassis frame, new Ranger promises car-like comfort, front and rear suspension and steering system, more precise handling, better on-road stability and educed steering effort. The 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak is available with Bluetooth audio streaming, iPod connectivity, USB, voice control over the radio, air-conditioning and the software is able to recognize languages such as English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish. The vehicle also features 5-inch color screen along with satellite navigation, more practical stowage than other models and ample storage place for mobile phones and small items.
