The Peugeot 908 RC is a concept car which was introduced to explore the new ideas and also to test the ideas in creating the ultimate solution for the new models. The car is available with a 5.5 liters V12 HDi DPFS diesel engine that is able to generate about 515 kW of power along with an exceptional torque of 1,200 Nm. The power train has been located in such a way that it allows the creation of a large-capacity boot and it does not encroach on the generous interior space of the passenger compartment. The Peugeot 908 RC interior has been developed with a forward-positioned passenger compartment along with a special shape of huge front windscreen which allows a unimpeded field of vision. It also features radio, four-zone air conditioning, MP3 player, satellite navigation, etc and all these can be accessed through a large touch screen known as the MMI or Man/Machine Interface. The MMI can be used by the rear passengers because the multimedia screen has been positioned on the centre console which divides the two rear seats. The Peugeot 908 RC is available with high-quality materials and the interior design creates an atmosphere which is both luxurious as well as timeless. The front and rear of the car has a drop link, double wishbone type suspension which is similar to the Peugeot 407. Overall, it can be considered as the luxurious touring interpretation of the racing car suitable for the future.
