The Porsche Cayman S Sport was first unveiled in the year 2008 as a 2009 model and it was also available in different exterior colors options when compared to the standard model. It also features an engine that is capable of producing a power of 217 kW at 6250 rpm to 223 kW at 6250 rpm. The car is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in about 5.5 seconds along with a top speed of around 165 mph. The standard safety features are remote key locking, called as a fob that transmits an extremely specific signal which is detected by the startup mechanism. The Porsche Cayman S Sport exterior color options include Bright Orange, Signal Green, Carrara White, Guards Red, Arctic Silver, Speed Yellow and Black. The car also has striping on the sides, an Alcantara steering wheel and black 19 inch wheels. The body has been lowered by about 1 cm and the instrumentation loses its hood. The company had planned about 700 units for production and all would be available in the market all over the world. There was one specialty available in this model where the engine would not start until the key is present in the car. There were also many luxury features that were available with this model which includes heated exterior mirrors, heated steering wheel and seats for additional comfort. The car was announced as a limited edition when it was introduced in the market for the first time.
