The Subaru Legacy Station Wagon is a mid-size family vehicle that was first popularized during the year 2004. It was available with different engine options during its production period. The company has been successful in developing high performance versions which featured a Bilstein suspension and tuned turbocharged engines which are similar to the homologized rally version WRX STI. The standard model was available with a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine for all the wagons that were produced by the company. The earlier models that were produced by the company were just called as Touring Wagon and the later models were known as GT and GT Limited nomenclature. The Subaru Legacy Station Wagon is available with an improved suspension, larger wheels, navigation and other driving as well as aerodynamic improvements for all the GT models. It also features leather upholstery, heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats, a windshield wiper de-icer and an upgraded sound system. The base model was able to provide an estimated fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg in the highway and higher models were able to offer 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg in the highway. The Subaru Legacy Station Wagon can be handled extraordinarily in winter driving conditions and the road-grip in inclement weather is also incredible. This model is considered to be a perfect choice for a large family. It also has plenty of cargo space and rear seats can be folded in a 60-40 pattern.
