

The Ford Start is a concept car that was first introduced at the Beijing Auto Show in the year 2010. The car features a 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder Ford EcoBoost engine and it also has a very important role in introducing the latest model in Ford green technology. The car has been inspired by the fast-growing mega cities in the world and its unique needs with the mindset of the inhabitants. Fuel economy has become one of the important concern for the urban drivers and this model is a vision of a future sporty as well as small-car package. The Ford Start is expected to meet the multitude of primary driving objectives and particularly among the first-time buyers. The car is more than a design exploration of a future small car and it also features smallest engine along with growing Ford EcoBoost engine family. The engine has been specially developed to bring the EcoBoost promise for fuel efficiency to the small cars along with compact engine compartments. This technology will be used in the near future to produce CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km as well as drivability when compared to the larger petrol I4 engines. The car is 10 inches shorter and one inch narrower compared to the upcoming Fiesta five-door hatchback models.
