The HRT F112 is a Formula One racing car which will be used in the 2012 Formula One season and it was specially developed by the HRT F1 Team. The car was actually expected to be introduced in the early 2012 and was delayed after it failed two of its mandatory crash tests. This model also failed to take up the third test because it failed to pass one of the tests which was a pre-requisite of its third test. However, the car was successful in completing its final crash test and the team attempted to ready their car for the third test of the off season in Barcelona. The HRT F112 was able to make its on-track debut at the circuit on March and it combined shakedown and filming day along with Karthikeyan which completed the maximum allowable one hundred kilometers. It was introduced with a white, gold & red livery and it is their third livery change in as many years. The team also faced lot of complications at Australian Grand Prix as the chassis of the car was intended to be raced by the Pedro de la Rosa and it was not finished before scrutineering. The HRT F112 also took part in qualifying and both the driver were qualified within 107 perfect of the fastest time set during the first qualifying period. But both the drivers were blocked from starting the race during the second year in a row.
