The Kia Multi-S is a concept vehicle that was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show in North America during the year 2006. It is available with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission along with a manual shift mode. This model has an appealing and unique frame planted firmly at its corners of the 19 inch alloy wheels along with slotted disc brakes which has been tuck snugly into the curvaceous fender flares. The vehicle has been specially designed to satisfy the interlocking trends of crossover vehicles as well as upscale leisure SUVs and the S stands for Sporty, Spacious and Smart, which defines the new concept. The Kia Multi-S is available with a wheelbase of 2700 mm, length of 4545 mm, width of 1850 mm and a height of 1650 mm. The safety features include six full-length side curtain airbags, electronic stability control, active front-seat head restraints, tire pressure monitoring systems and adaptive front headlamps. It also has a versatile interior seating configurations which allows the passengers to carry things like groceries or mountain bikes. The Kia Multi-S also features latest multi-systems interface technology for things such as notebook computers, cell phones, iPods, PDAs, MP-3s and more. There are large center console, luggage box and overhead console along with rear entertainment system including a USB port which complements a 6.1-channel premium surround sound audio system. It offers the driver and passengers with utmost in sound quality and entertainment.
