

The Skoda Octavia Green E Line was first introduced at the 2010 Paris Motorshow and it is a first-ever electric-powered vehicle to demonstrate the innovative potential and technological competence of the company in this area. The vehicle features an electric engine that is able to generate a power of about 60 to 85 kW along with a torque of 270 Nm. It is capable of reaching from 0-60 mph in 12 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 135 km/h. This model is based on the Skoda Octavia Combi and it has a modular chassis design. The Skoda Octavia Green E Line gets electricity from the modern lithium-ion battery which has a range-per-charge of 140 kms which meets the requirements of everyday commuters in Europe. The battery has been placed under middle and rear parts of the floor which extends partly to the luggage compartment and it also weighs about 315 kilograms. The interior features five comfortable seats and the passenger compartment is very much similar to the Octavia Combi along with a combustion engine. The Skoda Octavia Green E Line is available with smart dashboard indicators which helps the driver to stay in control. The vehicle also features a navigation display which shows the energy flow and it has a computer screen which provides continuous information about power consumption, instant output, battery charge and remaining range. This model is available only in pearl-white exterior color along with a glossy black roof.
