

The Buick Centieme is a concept vehicle which was first unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in the year 2003. This model was specially developed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Buick Motor Division and it also had a similar size & shape of the Rendezvous crossover. It has been powered by a 3.6 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that is able to generate about 400 hp along with a Hydra-Matic 4T65-E 4-speed transmission. The vehicle is expected to attract the younger customers with its essence of Buick beauty. The Buick Centieme is available with a seating capacity for six passengers in a three-row, dual seat configuration. The seats have been upholstered in leathers of different grains and colors which also includes a woven-leather floor. The interior has been designed with a custom madewoven-leather floor, ambient lighting and gauge cluster which feature aluminum accents along with olive ash wood inserts for the trim. The vehicle has a Bertone-designed exterior which is painted in Canyon Mist metallic tricoat along with 22 inch aluminum wheels, short front and rear overhangs. The Buick Centieme is available with an advanced traction control to transfer torque from front wheels to rear, Versatrak all-wheel-drive system, strut configuration for front end and SLA independent suspension with coils for the rear. The vehicle also has technical features such as steering-wheel-mounted electronic shift controls, DVD entertainment centers for rear occupants at the back panels of the front seats.
