The Bugatti Aerolithe is a concept car which was introduced at the Paris Motor Show. It is available with a micro turbine/electric hybrid engine that is capable of producing about 450 hp along with a torque of 1500 lb-ft. The car is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds along with a top speed of around 220 mph. The microturbines do not send power to the wheels directly and only function as a generator which will charge up the batteries on the run. It also acts as a range extender which makes it a purely electric vehicle. The Bugatti Aerolithe is able to run up to 800 miles with a single fill of the tank. The design of the car represents simplicity, elegance as well as intelligence which includes features such as smooth flow which is uncluttered by door handles along with external mirrors or spoilers. The underbody aerodynamics produces enough down force to keep the car at the tarmac during high speeds and it also allows two air channels to traverse the length of the body. The Bugatti Aerolithe is available with bullet proof windows, aeronautics inspired split canopy doors, split windshield, lightweight construction material, Bugatti’s signature front grille and pronounced windows. This model has been specially developed 75 years after the original Aerolithe introduced and it also looks quite futuristic. The car has been just introduced as a concept model and it may take more time enter into production.
