The Honda FC Sport is a concept car that was first unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in the year 2008. The car is based on the supercar level of performance through low weight and high-performance along with electrically driven fuel cell powertrain. It has high-output Honda fuel cell powertrain along with a aerodynamic body which contribute to the performance potential of the car. The fuel cell component packaging and electric drivetrain provides a low center of gravity along with the majority its mass distributed between the axles which creates a balanced weight distribution. The Honda FC Sport interior is expected to be very much similar to the McLaren F1 where the driver sits in the center and passenger on each side. The interior layout is mainly focused on the driver and the enclosed canopy opens upward for easy entry and exit. It also features two rear passenger seats that flank the driver’s left and right side. The exterior has been painted in glacier white color which offers clean environmental aspirations along with dark wheels and deeply tinted glass. The Honda FC Sport has been developed with green construction techniques which take the car to a reduced carbon footprint. It also has an organic, bio-structure theme that is carried through to the body construction. This model was specially built by the Advanced Design Studio of Honda R&D Americas, California with the primary objective of using the current fuel cell technology as the basis of ultimate sports car.
