

The BMW 2000 CS is a 2+2 seater fixed-head coupe that was produced from the year 1965 to 1965 and was available with two different models such as a lower-powered automatic version and a faster manual version. It was available with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder inline dual-carburetor engine that is capable of producing about 120 bhp at 5600 rpm and 123 ft-lb of torque at 3500 rpm. The car also had a rear wheel drive option along with a 4-speed manual transmission. This model was able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 10.40 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 110 mph. It also featured a fully independent suspension along with MacPherson struts in front and front disc brakes. The BMW 2000 CS was introduced with a wheelbase of 2553 mm, length of 4521 mm, width of 1681 mm, height of 1407 mm and it also had a weight of 2535 lb. The car was available with a modern coupe body that was developed by Karmann and a luxurious interior. The styling of this model was very controversial because of the design which was used to set up front grilles and headlights. The BMW 2000 CS front also underwent changes during it production period. It is considered to be a very unique model that featured a reliable ohc engine and perfect handling. It had a distinctive pillar-less hardtop body that was specially made by Karmann along with BMW’s then-current styling themes.
