The Cadillac Imaj is a high-tech concept car that was introduced at the Geneva Auto Show in the year 2000. The vehicle has been powered by a 4.2 liter supercharged V8 engine that is able to generate about 425 hp at 6,400 rpm along with a new 5-speed automatic transmission and 4 wheel drive. The car is available with the most acclaimed Night Vision system that works in the front and rear, to improve the field of vision of the driver behind the car. The mirrors have been replaced by obstacle alert sensors and rear vision cameras which improves rearward mobility. The Cadillac Imaj also features a 20 inch magnesium wheels along with Goodyear EMT run-flat tires, Delco ABS, traction control and Brembo brakes along with next-generation StabiliTrak chassis control system. It has a length of 5100 mm, width of 1900 mm and a height of 1420 mm. The interior also looks luxurious with artful integration of advanced technology. Other interior features include fully reconfigurable seats, ventilation, E-mail access, individual LCD screen along with DVD capabilities and navigation and entertainment. The Cadillac Imaj exterior has been designed with diamond-like quality which includes louvered roof panels that can be opens the rear and front seats to the sky. Other features include adjustable pedals, head-up display combine along with steering wheel mounted controls, shift-by-wire gear selection for driver-in-control environment. It also has Bose audio system and Communiport central server which is also used in the Evoq.
