

The 2004 Hyundai HCD8 is the first concept car that has been developed by the company at the new Design and Technical Center located in Irvine, California. The vehicle has been powered by a supercharged 2.7 liter V6 engine along with a 6-speed manual transaxle as well as a tuned dual exhaust. The driver is able to adjust the ride height by four inches through air suspension for a real world driving and the vehicle can also sit low for high-speed touring or increased to handle inclement weather, handle a car wash, avoid parking wheel stops or other situation. The 2004 Hyundai HCD8 was specially built to enter the sporty car market and meet the values the consumer. The interior has been designed with two-tone Vapor Gray leather seating surfaces, aluminum accented steering wheel rim and shift lever knob. The LED lights of the vehicle burn brighter when compared to present lighting systems and it is also said to be more energy efficient. The LED lights are expected to last for the life of this model and it would also not deteriorate. The 2004 Hyundai HCD8 is a conceptual design model which is used to display the design and package of the next generation sports coupe. The surfaces have the volume and shape which retains some of the classicism of a sports car. The exterior has been colored Ballistic Yellow tri-color paint along with anthracite color ground effects trim and road wheels.
