The Isuzu Hombre is a 2-door pickup truck that was produced from the year 1996 to 2000 and it was available as a small model range along with a modest selection of equipment packages. The vehicle was powered with either 2.2 liter I4 engine or 4.3 liter V6 engine that was capable of producing about 175 hp along with a 4wd. It also featured either 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. This model was the replacement for Indiana-built Isuzu Pick Up which was available with a extensive array of optional equipment. The Isuzu Hombre had a length of 4,752 mm, width of 1,725 mm, height of 1,623 mm, wheelbase of 2,751 mm and it also weighed about 3,583 lb. The vehicle was available with two trim levels such as base S and higher XS. The base model had features such as higher-grade interior fabric, a sliding rear window, a split 60/40 seatback, cassette tape deck and a tachometer. It also featured S-series 15 x 7 steel wheels along with 8 directional vents and wheels were painted in black. The Isuzu Hombre was also available with S-10′s aluminum wheels along with Isuzu center caps. Even though this vehicle was similar to other models from GM, there were few features that helped to recognize this model such as front bumper, front fenders, lights and a grille. This model is known to be one of the rarest pickup vehicles as of 2006 in North America.
