The Mitsubishi Nessie is a new SUV that was introduced at the 2005 Geneva Auto Show as a concept model. It is available with a linde hydrogen-powered V8 engine that has been developed by The Linde Group, a German industrial gases company. The vehicle also features an automatic transmission along with all wheel drive option. This model has been configured as a 2.5 volume SUV coupe which has extra space at the rear and the third box add-on provides unmatched space for passengers and their luggage. There is also a third door at the right side which provides easy access to the second row. The Mitsubishi Nessie also features a panoramic glass roof panel that has been protected by an innovative element, a snap-catch for carrying skis or windsurfs and an arrow-shaped structure that is used as a roll-bar. The roll-bar has not been anchored to the glass roof and it just leans against the belt line at the rear mudguard area. The window/boot dual unlocking system helps to store bulky equipment even when the window is open. The Mitsubishi Nessie has a wheelbase of 2,780 mm, length of 4,600 mm, width of 1,950 mm and a height of 1,810 mm. It also features 22 inch front and 23 inch rear wheels, an arrow-shaped roll bar or roof-rack that extends from C-pillars on the glass roof and glass panels in the lower half of the doors which increases the visibility in the city or off-road driving.
