

The 2009 Nissan Nuvu is a new all-electric city car which has solar panels shaped like tree leaves at the roof which sends the solar power through a tree trunk located at the center of the vehicle. It is capable of travelling up to 80 miles on an electric charge and a top speed of around 75 mph. The car has electric motor that has been mounted at the rear and the laminated lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 140 Wh/kg. This model is just 3 meters long that has been developed with few natural materials and it also has a very unique 2+1 seating. The 2009 Nissan Nuvu is further highlighted with its unique body color which is officially called Soft Feel Sandy Gold. The standard elements that are usually found inside a typical production car are replaced by natural materials as well as organic alternatives like the wood fibers and rubber from car tires. The car has a wheelbase of 1980 mm, width of 1700 mm and a height of 1550 mm which creates a large and airy cabin. The 2009 Nissan Nuvu interior features two regular seats, third occasional chair that is foldable and an integral luggage area which provides space for shopping items. The third seat also has a center section that is made from hardwearing and comfortable netting. This model has been specially developed for a city of the future which is expected to be more crowded than the present day.
