

The Seat 124 Sport was a two door Coupe model that was produced from the year 1970 to 1975. The car was first unveiled at the 1970 Barcelona Motor Show where it was showcased under license from Fiat as it is very much similar to the Fiat 124 Coupe. It was available with a double camshaft engines with a capacity of either 1,608 cc that was capable of producing about 100 hp at 6400 rpm or 1,756 cc engine for more power. Both the models had a 5-speed gearbox which was introduced for the first time in a model developed for the Spanish market. The Seat 124 Sport was available with a wheelbase of 95.3 inches, length of 162.3 inches, width of 65.7 inches and a height of 52.8 inches. The car was capable of reaching a top speed of around 180 km/h. This model was particularly introduced to meet the increased local market demand for the sport cars during the period. The first series of this model was produced from 1970 to 1973 which used 1608 cc engines and the second series was developed from 1973 onwards with 1592cc and 1756 cc engines. The Seat 124 Sport was offered in different color options which include white, dark blue, light yellow or ocher and red. About 23,611 units were sold by the company during its production period. It also featured a monoportante body along with independent front suspension and rigid rear axle.
