

The Audi Roadjet is a 4-door fastback saloon concept vehicle that was unveiled at the North American International Automobile Show in the year 2006. It is available with a 3.2 liter, 6-cylinder engine with FSI petrol engine that is able to generate about 300 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a torque of 330 Nm at 4,500 rpm along with a sporty 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox. This is also the first model to have the sporty Direct Shift Gearbox and longitudinally installed engine along with a quattro permanent four-wheel drive option. It has four-link front suspension as well as self-tracking trapezoidal-link rear suspension that provides a standard of drivability and ride comfort. The Audi Roadjet is available with a length of 4.70 m, width of 1.85 m, height of 1.55 m and wheelbase of 2.85 m. The vehicle features new Audi dynamic steering rack-and-pinion steering along with variable ratio and variable shock absorbers. There is a new Audi drive select system which allows the driver to preselect independent vehicle characteristics by pushing a button. The Audi Roadjet has three driving modes which includes comfort, dynamic and sport for highly distinct driving experiences. The vehicle features higher seat position which provides ample legroom, shoulder and headroom for all the seats. It also has wedge-shaped nose along with a typical single-frame grille, two large air inlets beneath the bumpers, large window area, spacious interior, trapezoidal tailgate, diffuser below the bumper, wide wheel arches and more.
