

The Cadillac Brougham was a full-size luxury car that was produced from the year 1987 to 1992. The car was available with different engine options such as 5.0 liter L02 V8 engine which produced 140 hp, 5.0 liter Chevrolet V8 engine producing 170 hp and 5.7 liter L05/LLO V8 engine that was able to generate 185 hp along with a standard 4-speed TH-200-4R automatic transmission. It also featured a rear-wheel drive option, a cross-hatch grille and a new vertical-slat grille was also placed during its production period. This model had a body style along with open chauffeur compartment and metal roof, enclosed rear quarters and razor-edged styling. The Cadillac Brougham was introduced with a wheelbase of 3,086 mm, length of 5,613 mm, width of 1,913 mm, height of 1,440-1,458 mm and it also weighed about 4,300–4,500 lb. The car featured a vinyl roof covering that was considered as a sign of formal and luxurious cars. Another option called as Premiere Roof was introduced in the middle of production which was able to give a standard formal look for this model. The Cadillac Brougham was available with air conditioning, power steering, 4-Wheel ABS and more. Other optional features include anti-theft alarm system, leather seating, power moon roof, wire wheels, rear window defroster, tinted glass premium audio system and more. About 233,631 units were produced by the company during its production period and it was also successful in attracting most of the customers.
