The Ferrari F60 was a Formula One racing car that was introduced at the 2009 Formula One season. This is the fifty fifth single-seater model that was developed by the company particularly to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship. The car has been powered by a 2398cc V8 engine along with a 7-speed semiautomatic sequential transmission. The body of this model cannot carry the slotted apertures which had been characterized by the Ferrari cars over the past years and the rear wing is higher as well as narrower when compared to the previous models. The Ferrari F60 is about 1.9 seconds faster than the previous car even though it has been developed on the new regulations. The wheelbase is also shorter along with simpler front splitter, certain underside air flows and a narrower rear spoiler. The front splitter has been placed away from the front wheel which has only 1 layer which is expected to improve the air flow to the wheels. The car features 1-tread slick tires and simpler suspension located in a backward angle. The Ferrari F60 is available with side mirrors over the edge of the floor and small side wings for cleaner side pods. The rear diffuser was updated to meet the new regulations to produce less down force. The car scored the points in Bahrain which was the fourth race of the season where Kimi Raikkonen finished sixth. The first race was won at the Belgian Grand Prix.
