

The 1967 Jaguar 340 is a small sedan car that has been derived from the Mark II series and was produced only for a short period. It has been powered by a 3.4 liter engine that is able to generate about 220 bhp along with a manual transmission. The car is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in about 8.5 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 125 mph. This is considered to be the interim model that was released before the introduction of XJ6 and it was discontinued immediately with a very manageable price. The 1967 Jaguar 340 was available with a wheelbase of 2,718 mm, length of 4,572 mm, width of 1,702 mm, height of 1,473 mm and it also had a weight of around 3,174 lb. It had a fuel capacity of 14.5 gallons and luggage capacity of 13.5-cubic-foot trunk was also available. The car was designed with Ambla leather-like material that looked slimmer along with more economical front and rear bumpers. The front fog lamps that were used in the previous models were replaced with the circular vents and fog lamps were available as optional in UK. The 1967 Jaguar 340 had a seating capacity for five passengers and it also featured a power steering along with an adjustable telescoping steering wheel, radial tires and four-wheel disc brakes. The handling of the car was controlled by semitrailing wishbones and the rear also had a trailing-link setup along with antilever semielliptical springs.
