The 2013 McLaren X-1 is a new concept car that has been specially designed by Hong Yeo, the McLaren client and McLaren designer. It is considered to be one of the most unique models in the present market. The car has been powered by a 3.8 liter turbocharged V-8 engine that is able to generate about 592 hp at 7,000 rpm along with a 443 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm. It sends power to the rear wheels through the 7-speed automated manual transmission. This model is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in about 3.2 seconds and its drivetrain has zero modifications. The 2013 McLaren X-1 has a length of 4,658 mm, width of 2,097 mm, height of 1,199 mm which makes it just 109 mm longer and 188 mm wider than the MP4-12C. The interior is similar to the MP4-12C along with Harissa Red McLaren Nappa leather used on the seats, doors and roof. It also has a carbon-fiber trim along with titanium weave, which provides a 3D effect. The 2013 McLaren X-1 has a single body panel that has been developed with carbon-fiber and draped in pitch black. The vehicle is available with few bright works in places like windshield trimming, headlight eyebrows, stripe down the side of the car, entire air-brake wing and McLaren Speed Marque logo. The front fascia features a large air intake on both the side and there are three accent lines on the hood which gives more aggressive look.
