The Toyota Tacoma X-Runner RTR is a new special edition pick-up truck that was introduced at the 2011 SEMA Show. It has been powered by a Tundra 5.7 liter V8 engine along with a Toyota Racing Development Supercharger Kit that is capable of producing about 504 hp and a torque of 550 lb-ft. The vehicle runs on a premium than using a race fuel and it also features a 6-speed automatic transmission. Only traction bars and drive-line shaft have been used by the company to develop this model and all other parts are completely different. The Toyota Tacoma X-Runner RTR exterior body panels are similar to the standard model, but it has been painted in a silver and red paint scheme. The exhaust outlet has been placed underneath the cab instead of keeping it behind the passenger-side rear wheel which has helped to increase the rear-suspension compression. All the doors have been painted with a number 95 which signifies its upgraded power plant and number 504 on the hood verifies its horsepower. The Toyota Tacoma X-Runner RTR interiors have been completely redesigned to make the weight lighter. It also has front seats that have been covered with a classic Toyota fabric trim, a custom TRD steering wheel, a stock Tundra gated shifter along with sport shift mode, TRD designed removable roll bar, brake pedals and Tundra stock accelerator. An X-Runner logo has been placed on the side rocker panels of the vehicle.
