The production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato will be presented at the IAA in Frankfurt. Brits get two units, both being used in the Nurburgring VLN stage.
Aston Martin V12 Zagato, the new brand creation in Gaydon, will be presented in the version number at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model has recently stunned the judges and audience at Elegance Contest at Villa d’Este, and the people at Pebble Beach. Initially, Aston Martin was introduced like a competition model based on the V12 Zagato called the Zig, and a production model in the standard configuration, Zag. The last was also converted to the specification of competition, but the people at Aston Martin decided to present this production version in Frankfurt, so they removed its external changes.
Aston Martin will build just 150 units V12 Zagato, the production’s debut will take place in the summer of 2012, when the English celebrates 50 years of the onset of DB4GT Zagato. The model develops 517 hp and 570 Nm from only 6.0-liter V12 unit and it has a body that combines carbon fiber with aluminum for the maximum performance.
Aston Martin V12 Zagato model has a price of £ 330,000 this is excluding taxes. Both copies V12 Zagato in Frankfurt were used in the Nurburgring VLN stage and transformation “Zag” in the version number has been partially restored to just outside of the standard, the interior remains changed for competitions. Besides the two models V12 Zagato, Aston Martin Virage and Vantage S brings new Frankfurt, with One-77.
