Fiat Punto gets a facelift at the Auto Show in Frankfurt. The model give up to the suffix “Evo” and enjoy the two new engines. The B segment of the Fiat motor company will be offered in 0.9 TwinAir Turbo 85 hp and 145 Nm, and the company thruster 85 hp 1.3 16v MultiJet and 200 Nm. Most likely, the engine range of Punto Evo will be taken by the facelift model, leading to an extensive list of options for the new customers. This information has not been confirmed by the officials from Fiat.
In terms of aesthetic changes, the Italians have increased the color palette with three new, great shades: blue, red “ruby” and gray “graphite”. Range of alloy wheels was recently completely restyled and the bumpers have been also restyled. Inside, Punto facelift upholstery boasts nine three trim levels: Pop, Easy and Lounge, inspired by brother Fiat 500. All three trim levels offers a number of customization options, to the delight of the fans of Fiat. Besides the three, the choice of the Twin Air trim will lead to the motorisation level and it is offering a special, easily distinguishable look in appearance.
The official commercial debut of Fiat Punto facelift will take place early next year. All Euro5 petrol and diesel engines in this range have received the Stop & Start system which has a gearshift indicator. The system helps very much, in order to reduce by 15% in fuel consumption in the urban regime. TwinAir version of Fiat Punto facelift will be offered only in lime green hue.
