Exeo’s disappointing sales will cause those of the Seat change quickly the design model’s engines which derived from the old Audi A4. Frankfurt will see a facelift aesthetic and technical.
Seat presented the first official pictures of the facelifted version of Exeo. The model built on old generation A4 receives new buildings, optic front and elected new interesting and effective TDI.
At the aesthetic level, the main changes concern to the new front lamp units, which are now coming with a spectacular design. Both the sedan and the wagon (hereafter ST) receive such a new face, highlighted by sophisticated interior LED lights. Also, those who have great attention to details will notice the new 17 and 18 inch wheels in the Exeo range. The spanish model comes with several improvements and internally, wheel design is the most obvious change in this regard.
The clearest changes are coming to the engine. The Exeo’s facelift surprises the customers will and this will have units which are ranging from 120 to 210 hp. TDI diesels have been modified in order to consume less and emit less quantity of CO2, so that the average consumption of these engines dropped to 5.2 liters in the range (5.3 liter ST). Improvements will continue in 2012 when Seat will introduce a wide range Start-Stop which will decrease even more all the media consumption.Other wise,those who love playing sports can rely somewhat on Multitronic transmission, which is available with engines 2.0 TSI 200 PS and 2.0 TDI with 143 hp. The basic version of the model remains the 1.8 TSI of 120 hp one.
