

The Caterham 7 CSR 200 is a sports car that is the most heavily modified model from the company which has the looks of Super Seven. It is available with a 2.261 liter 16 valves engine that is capable of producing about 200 bhp at 7000 rpm and a torque of 165 lb-ft at 5750 rpm along with a 5-speed transmission. The car is able to reach from 0-60 mph in about 3.7 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 140 mph. This model is considered to feature the most radical redesign after the introduction of Seven. The Caterham 7 CSR 200 is available with wheelbase of 2,315 mm, length of 3,300 mm, width of 3,300 mm, height of 1,015 mm, ground clearance of 100 mm and it also weighed around 1268 lb. The cam shafts have been slightly radicalized, and its exhaust system is also been upgraded when compared to the high end models. It also featured large inlet system, upgraded computer chip and dry-sump system is not available in this model. The Caterham 7 CSR 200 chassis has been improved by adding new tubular steel to the frame. This model is also much wider than previous models which help to improve the handling ability. The front suspension features double wishbone, improving aerodynamics, fully adjustable inboard springs and the rear suspension has double wishbone, fully independent system. There are no power brakes and steering which makes it extremely responsive as well as agile.
