

The Daihatsu D-01 is a new concept vehicle that was first unveiled at the Auto China in the year 2007. The company had made a technology licensing agreement with China FAW Group Corporation to begin the production of a new compact multi-purpose passenger car in the Jilin City, Jilin Province. It has been developed to be a new compact multi-purpose passenger vehicle, Be-go SUV, the Copen roadster and HVS hybrid sports car. The entire sales of this latest model was planned to be conducted in partnership with the China FAW Group under the Daihatsu brand name. The Daihatsu D-01 was actually planned for the Chinese market which will be available in two different versions such as a crossover model and a sporty styled model. It is expected to be a higher specified crossover variant that is indicated by its off-road looks and a roof rack. The exterior has been painted in orange color along with sturdy plastic as well as acting Rundumbeplankung that indicates the under ride protection front and rear. The Daihatsu D-01 interior has a seating capacity for five passengers and it also features plastic surfaces in gray and beige color that makes small cars typically look simple. The interior has been upgraded with the ambience of wood leather seats, and chrome trim. The vehicle also has a discreet spoiler that has been painted in burgundy and a front apron along with large air opening provides a very dynamic appearance front view.
