

The Peugeot Quasar is a futuristic sports car that was introduced as a concept model in the year 1984 at the Paris Motor Show. The car is available with 1.6 liters, 4-cylinders DOHC biturbo engine that is capable of producing about 600 hp and a torque of 50 mkg along with an air-to-air intercooler. This model also has 5-speed transmission, traction control system along with a all-wheel-drive option. The car was developed at Peugeot Styling Center in La Garenne and it is based on the science-fiction spacecraft design. The suspension is available with Formula 1-like double wishbones. The suspension shows a very low-slung body lines at the front which also provides air passages at the rear. The Peugeot Quasar is an exercise in styling that has full freedom of expression. It has large dome for the passenger compartment along with various surprises. The interior is available with lot of new fittings and colors that forcefully increases the driving and leisure along with a futuristic approach. The passenger compartment of the car has been finished in dark blue along with red leather.
