The Caterham CDX is a new high-spec limited edition car that has been specially developed for racing purpose. The car will be produced with a K-series powerplant that can generate about 135 bhp along with a 5-speed box. This model will be able to reach an estimated top speed of around 115 mph and it has a capacity to accelerate from 0-60 mph about in 6-seconds. The exhaust on the car has been placed on the left-hand side instead on the right side which is found on the new Ford-powered cars. The Caterham CDX exterior has been painted in gloss black paint and it also features decals along the sides. It also features heated windscreen, full weather kit which dramatically increases the practicality as well as the comfort and a there is a limited-slip differential along with a track day roll-over bar that creates a safety driving. The chassis of the car has been fully equipped for a hard track usage along with a limited slip differential and sticky Avon tyres. The Caterham CDX interior is available with plush leather seats, a push button engine start, battery master switch, Momo leather steering wheel and 14 inch Minator alloy wheels on the exterior. Other important features include a limited slip diff, a weather protection and a starter button. This model has been built as an ultra light sports car which is expected to make most of the car enthusiast happy with its styling.
